Who We Are
A single, senior adjuster on every assignment.
Thoroughbred Unlimited, Inc. is an independent adjusting firm built on four decades of executive general adjusting. Large and complex losses and appraisals are not passed down a bench — they are handled directly by the principal adjuster who was assigned to them.
Our work spans commercial and residential property, business income and extra expense, inland marine and builders risk, agriculture and food, industrial and specialty equipment, and nationwide catastrophe response. We serve carriers, reinsurers, program managers, self-insureds and public entities, and we accept appointments as appraiser and umpire.

Why Thoroughbred
Named for the standard we hold.
A thoroughbred is bred for one thing: performance under pressure, proven on the record. That is the standard we bring to every file.
- Senior handling, start to finish. The adjuster who inspects the loss is the adjuster who reports on it and settles it.
- Coverage-first discipline. Policy language and the measure of loss are established before numbers are moved.
- A defensible file. Documentation, photographs and reserve reporting built to withstand audit, appraisal and litigation.
- Deployment readiness. Licensed in 26 states, NFIP certified and California Earthquake certified — on the ground quickly when a storm hits.
- Expert coordination. Forensic engineers, accountants, origin-and-cause investigators and equipment consultants managed to a single reporting line.
The measure of an adjuster is not how a routine claim is closed — it is what happens when the loss is the largest one anybody on site has ever seen.
